Out of today's top ten selling drugstore bronzers, nine of them belong to the Physicians Formula franchise, which includes paraben and fragrance-free blends made with SPF 50 protection, mineral technology and organic ingredients. Competitor Neutrogena is the only other brand to break the top ten.

New for this summer, Bronze Booster is a shimmery bronzer accessory that fits around your wrist like a clutch and contains a cleverly hidden mirror and brush for totally self-contained touch-ups on the go. The bronzer also doubles as a skin care treat, with antioxidant ingredients like kapi kacchu seeds, carob tree extract and vitamins C and E providing healing hydration while you sport the naturally bronzed color.

The brand's celebrity makeup artist Joanna Schlip was on hand at the New York launch event, and shared the number one mistake women make when applying bronzer.

"They choose the wrong color! Only go two shades darker than your natural tone. Any darker, and it really takes a professional hand to know how to blend it. The safest way to apply it is right under the cheekbones and anywhere else that light hits your face," Schlip told StyleList.

Physician's Formula is also launching Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls, which features real mineral pearl extract for a luminous hint to the skin. We're loving how a gentle brush sweep leaves behind a blurred glow, quietly masking minor imperfections with its pearly finish.

Both items retail for .95 and .95 respectively, and can currently be found in drugstores.
