Dolce & Gabbana Lip Jewels, Straight Off the Spring 2011 Runway

Though Milan Fashion Week just wrapped up, we were still thinking about those perfectly plummed pouts that strutted down the Dolce & Gabbana runway.

And that's why we're thrilled to hear that the luxury Italian brand is releasing the Lip Jewels compact, which was used backstage at the show and will allow us to easily evoke the relaxed Sicilian sensuality seen on the models. The cream lipstick quartet features three varying shades of red in Dahlia, Devil, Ultra, plus a nude color to round out the look.

"The three reds we chose are very luscious, shades I've worked with time and again on the runway," says lead makeup artist Pat McGrath, who's also a creative consultant for Dolce & Gabbana The Makeup. "I've played with them a lot  I've mixed them together, used them solo-and have come up with very rich passionate looks."

"The mouth is such a focal point; Stefano, Domenico and I have always believed that drop dead glamour and innermost sensuality comes from an emphasis on the lips," she added.

The compact is dressed in a red, rock-sized jewel, making it fun and festive for a release right before the holidays in November, at Saks and Saks.com.
